COMPANY POLICY REGARDING SALES OF RADIOS INTENDED FOR USE ON STATE/LOCAL TRUNKING SYSTEMS:
Many of our customers are members or volunteers with local public safety agencies who elect to personally purchase Phase 2 (TDMA) compatible portable or mobile radio equipment with the intent of activating the radio(s) on the Tennessee Valley Radio System (TVRS) or Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN).
We welcome anyone that wishes to purchase radio equipment compatible with those systems, and will gladly provide consultation or sales assistance in choosing the right equipment.
Customers electing to purchase such equipment for this purpose must be aware of and understand the following information and our related policy:
Tennessee Technology Solutions is an independent business entity, and it nor its employees or representatives are affiliated in any way with any public safety agency or board related to local radio systems. We do not have the authority to provide or authorize access to state or locally managed trunking radio systems.
Customers for such equipment are advised to contact the agency or agencies they intend to communicate with using their radio equipment prior to purchase of any equipment from us. It is not the role or responsibility of Tennessee Technology Solutions to communicate or coordinate any such requests between a customer and any agency or organization responsible for approving the addition of radio equipment to a trunking system. All inquiries or authorization requests should be directed only to the agency with signature authority for the request.
No refunds or credits of any kind will be issued in the event a customer's agency rejects the authorization for their radio equipment purchased from us to be activated on any radio system.
