Programming Service Fees and Policy
STANDARD PROGRAMMING SERVICE:
Our Standard Programming Service is a flat rate of $50.00 per programming session regardless of radio type.
This covers our initial time incurred to read and analyze existing programming, gather data from the customer (f customer is providing the programming data) or from their FCC license(s), and to program one 16 channel zone of conventional repeater or simplex ("talk around" or "radio to radio") channels only.
Each additional zone of 16 channels is $5.00.
We include free programming of one zone of up to 16 channels with the purchase of any brand new radio. We may elect to include free programming with used equipment as part of a temporary or one-time promotion, at our discretion.
BULK RADIO PROGRAMMING SERVICE (4 OR MORE RADIOS):
Bulk Programming Service: $75.00 per programming session regardless of radio type.
Bulk Programming Service includes programming of one conventional zone of up to 16 channels on up to 4 radios.
Additional "A La Carte" Programming:
If you are purchasing a bulk lot of used radios from us, all of the same type, we may elect to include free programming with your purchase as part of a temporary or one-time promotion or discount at our discretion.
If the radios are customer provided, we may charge an additional fee if the customer's programming data must be entered manually on each radio if the flash code, feature set, or model type is different between radios. In this instance, the customer will be provided a quote and an opportunity to decline services if they do not elect to proceed.
Differences in flash code, feature set, or model type will require additional manual programming time by our technicians. Fees will vary based on the age of the equipment, whether or not they require utilization of specialized legacy equipment, or additional labor/time incurred to bring the radio up to a minimum firmware or codeplug version necessary to complete the programming.

PROGRAMMING SERVICE POLICY:
- We do not program radios onto public safety or private trunking systems.
- We may refuse to program equipment we feel is at risk of failure, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for use.
- We are not responsible to replace, refund, or reimburse customers for equipment that fails on our workbench during the programming process, unless it is due to incorrect action by the technician.
- We reserve the right to refuse programming service to customers we feel will use the equipment to disrupt, disable, interfere with, or otherwise harm a public or privately owned radio system, or for any other type of abuse.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel the customer is not properly educated or trained on proper use of their equipment. In this instance, we will provide the customer an opportunity to schedule a training session with a technician, or referred to an appropriate resource.
- The customer is expected to provide accurate programming information if they are providing it. We will not authorize any refund for services if the customer fails to provide accurate information, regardless if the error is "minor" in nature.
- For programming data containing authorized FCC licensed business frequencies, we may request the customer's call sign information to verify the license is up to date and that they are an authorized system user or licensee. We reserve the right to refuse service if the customer is unable or unwilling to provide this information.
- The customer may request to have their equipment programmed for licensed frequencies for which they do not have a license, but the customer must agree to sign a liability waiver that indemnifies Tennessee Technology Solutions, its employees, agents, representatives, or other associates from any liability that arises from the customer's use of those licensed frequencies. It is the responsibility of the end user to adhere to FCC regulations and other laws or regulations in their area.
- The customer must abide by our Code of Conduct at all times, or we may refuse service on a temporary or permanent basis.
- We will cooperate with any law enforcement agency that requests witness statements or records of any kind if the customer is investigated for committing criminal acts using equipment we have programmed.
